| Heart Strings
Humans wear their hearts on their sleeves,
Mine is held up by mere puppet strings.
They are emotional mortal beings,
While I am but an empty, lifeless puppet.
Their hearts beat in many different rhythms,
My worn old wooden heart doesn't beat, not once.
These mere mortals can fear pain and death,
But I laugh at Death himself, for I cannot die, pain is just an illusion.
These stupid mortal beings wear their hearts on their sleeves,
While mine is drawn up by mere puppet strings.
